OAKLAND UNIVERSITY
Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering
School of Engineering & Computer Science

Rochester, Michigan, United States of America

Working in the Industrial and Systems Engineering department. My key area is digital twins, human-robot collaborative assembly systems, and virtual modeling of factories.

Expert for Robotics & Automation
JULY 2020 - DEC 2021

SIEMENS Gamesa Renewable Energy

Strategy & Corporate Affairs
Brande, Denmark

To explore and develop use cases and pilots in automation, collaborative robotics, simulation based digital twins, AR and VR technologies, and develop strategies for these Industry 4.0 enablers in wind turbine manufacturing.

Ph.D. Research Fellow
APR 2017 - JUNE 2020

University of Southern Denmark
Soenderborg, Denmark

To investigate and integrate collaborative robots for flexible automation in assembly cells. Besides exploring the usability of cobots in assembly cells, a complete human-robot assembly cell was developed during the project. Methods and technologies (e.g. simulation based digital twins) were also developed for fast and flexible commissioning of cobots. The project was in collaboration with a manufacturing company LINAK A/S, Denmark. Teaching and theses supervision of bachelor/master students at the university was also part of the job position.

Research Engineer
FEB 2016 - MAR 2017

Danfoss
Nordborg, Denmark

To research and develop a flexible manufacturing system based on Industry 4.0 solutions for manufacturing of pressure transmitters to be used in new product development. The production setup was proposed in form of a simulation.
